Massage, Reiki, Yoga, Craniosacral tagline

Body Eclectic’s commitment is to provide a professional, nurturing environment that fosters the well being of each client through personalized massage therapy, reiki, craniosacral and yoga sessions.
Massage and alternative therapies are no longer luxuries, but essential to health care.

It’s an incredible feeling when I follow up with clients after a visit and hear that their low back is pain free, they’ve still got relaxed shoulders, pain and fatigue continue to decrease, a sense of well-being was carried out of my office, among many things. I take great joy in the ability to find the root of a problem and work towards a solution, and giving clients tools to help them continue to work toward greater health between visits. This is my dream job! While teaching Yoga, it was the experience of offering the feel good adjustments to students during savasana that brought me to an 'Aha!' moment. The process of facilitating the relaxation response after the challenge of a class was inspiring. I decided to create a livelihood of providing energy work, Yogic practices, working with the soft tissue of the body, and nurturing others after the challenges and stresses of our daily lives. I love sharing what has helped me find relaxation, relief and a sense of steadiness in the face of life’s challenges.

Based on movements of Swedish massage, this massage is about pure, full body relaxation that uses a combination of long smooth rolling strokes to achieve full body balancing and relaxation of the mind.

The manipulation of superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue to enhance their function: this may include stretching and work comparable to deep tissue. This type of massage is good for people who’ve got an acute injury, or have a more chronic condition that’s being managed.

Using PNF, stretching, and other massage techniques, active individuals can choose this massage to aid recovery.

A gentle, relaxing full body massage with special attention is given to the future mother\’s condition associated with tension, discomfort and pain that many experience with pregnancy.

Yes, massage therapy for kids is wonderful for our young ones who are active in sports, experiencing growing pains, and provides a safe environment for the more anxious young people of our village, and some of them just think it feels pretty great. Duration of session is usually 30 minutes, 60 if necessary and their tolerance for being still is pretty high.

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach. By releasing tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

The International Center for Reiki Training describes Reiki as “…a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by ‘laying on hands’ and is based on the idea that an unseen ‘life force energy’ flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one\’s ‘life force energy’ is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.” Yeah, what they said.

Personalized Yoga sessions are available to further assist the process of restoring one to a state of greater flexibility and strength, and not just in the body. Yogic practices are a way of life that extend beyond more than what we see in the average class: restorative poses, breath work, lifestyle adjustments, meditation. Personalized attention can improve on any existing practice, help you learn ways to navigate an asana class safely, and introduce the often unnoticed facets of Yogic practices.
